I have a 16 month old (27 lb) toddler that wants to be a part of EVERYTHING I do! So.. While Holding her, I do squats! I do 2 sets of 10 to start off (you try it holding 27 lbs!).. And while counting out loud, I'm also teaching her NUMBERS! She loves it and thinks its a learning game and I get to burn away my thighs! Now that's multi-tasking!
For me, it seems like "DIEting" includes eating the boring boneless-skinless chicken breasts at every meal.. What I do is bake THREE chicken breasts for dinner, I eat two (with some broccoli.. yum) and then save the other one for lunch the next day! I shred it, add 1 TBLSP Light Mayo, s/p and some tarragon (key) for a super yummy chicken salad sandwich or great over some butter lettuce! If you're not going to be kissing anyone later.. feel free to add some diced onion as well!
When craving that yummy, melty, crunchy GRILLED CHEESE (don't lie.. you know you do) instead of putting butter on the bread and then grilling it, lightly spray the bread with "Butter flavored" cooking spray! It really does work and it's super good! Give it a shot.. You never know!
I live within 2 miles of a grocery store, farmers market, pharmacy and a park! So last summer I started walking EVERYWHERE! I have a toddler, so I put her in the stroller and took off! Not only does she like to be out and about, but I get my workout in while getting my errands accomplished! Not only that, I managed to go THREE MONTHS without having to put gas in my truck!
Before you measure out honey or any other sticky substance in your measuring cup, be sure to spray it with some non-stick spray! This will help it slide right out making clean up a breeze (well I should say easier, a breeze would be having someone else do it for you)!
