Control Journal

I have a control Journal which came from the fly lady plan. In the journal I keep my budgets, to do list, shopping list, menu plans, and other helpful information. I decorated it with all my favorite motivational quotes and it keeps me going. Decorating it makes it more fun to carry around and all information I need to remain focused and accountable are in it.

Televison and Fitness

Some weeks are so hectic that just plopping down in front of the television is a way of relaxing. At my house to help monitor how much televison the children watch we have no TV Fridays. On Friday the TV has to be off all day and we have to do something that involves fitness or family fun. It gets us together and it gets us moving.

Picture and think that you can.

I like to picture myself in my favorite clothes all slim and trim. I think doing this will help my vision and propel me closer to my goal. I do this from walking across the stage getting my degree to seeing my children all grown up and focused. Seeing for me is key.

Easier way to drink water

If you have a hard time drinking water try adding a little lemon or lime juice which makes it taste a lot better.
