I am not a morning person -- no way can I get out of bed to the gym. BUT, if I get up a little earlier and drive to work early, park the car and THEN go for a 20-30 minute walk in the morning before work, I miss the worst of the rush hour traffic and get 30 minutes of walking in before the day starts. That works for me!
Eating some greens with every meal (yes, breakfast, too!) makes for a better day. I get my greens in the morning with a green smoothie (1/3 fruit, 2/3 greens and a little green tea to make it drinkable consistency) or I add them to a breakfast sandwich. It really makes a difference for me. I feel better, I don't crave soda, and it just makes my world better!)
