Make sure to count every little thing you put into your mouth. It makes a huge difference at the end of the day. gum, mints, gum drop, bite of daughter's cake... once I did that it helped keep my weight at bay.
I used to have a problem figuring out how much water I was drinking on a given day. Now I use stryofoam cups that are exctly 8 oz and I keep a tally on the side to track how many cups i have drank. problem solved ^_^
