Before I found out I had sleep apnea I was hungry all the time. Once I got my machine and mask to use, although I hated wearing the mask, I now use my machine faithfully. In the first three months I lost 18 pounds doing nothing else different. I was not hungry all the time anymore. Use your machine, if you need it. You will lose weight easier.
Try changing little things to help you on your journey. Like parking far from your destination and walking that extra bit to get there. Drink one extra glass of water a day. Eat one more fruit or vegetable each day. Get up and walk or exercise during tv commercials. Whatever extra you can do each day will all add up to success.
SO I do not get in a rut with my eating plans, I try something new at least once a month. This week I bought some apple pears. LAst time I tried some green pluots. Mixing things up,helps keep me motivated and on track.
On itunes podcasts, search for "WIld workout @noon" there you will find workout music for free. I use real player converter to convert it to itunes format so I can put it on my ipod shuffle. It plays fine on other ipods.
At http://www.technosweat.com/ You can make your own workout mix cd. You can also adjust beats per minute on your own songs. There is a cost. I also found a list of good workout music there.
If you go to the itunes store and click on podcasts, then search for fitmusic.com, you will get a list of free workout music to choose from. I use real player converter to convert it to ipod format, so I can listen to it on my ipod shuffle. It plays on regular ipods with no conversion. Enjoy
After a workout my feet are tired. I bought some cream (I use either foot cream or body lotion). After my shower and before I get dressed each day, I rub the cream on my tired feet. This also keeps my shoes smelling nice, as well as soothing my feet.
My dietitian taught me to listen to my body for hunger cues. For example, I am not that hungry at lunchtime, but starving after I go to the gym. SO I now have a snack at lunchtime and lunch in mid afternoon when I get back from the gym. She told me to make sure I have plenty of protein then.
