Healthy high fibre substitutions In any recipe that calls for bread crumbs or cracker crumbs, I substitute oat bran, ground oatmeal or quinoa and get superior results with high fibre and great texture and taste. This method also keeps recipes "cleaner" and saves unnecessary processing.
