This time of year it is easy to eat healthier because of the fresh healthy vegetables and fruits available at food coop and farmer's markets. I shop for values and then plan my menu around them! , and more are available!
When faced with a plateau I've found I need to amp up my fitness routine and mix in some different elements. Now research shows a need more than 3 hours of fitness activities. I'm taking up dancing, adding biking again, and researching speed walking increasing my speed!
When I hit a plateau, I reread information to make sure I'm doing things correctly, I recheck measurements , I alternate cardio with intensity, incline and distance, measure food I record instead of eyeballing, and I keep going with SparkPeople !
When faced with choice of tempting foods, I visualize the ingredients, i.e. French Silk Pie ingredients: white four. Lard, water, salt, butter, raw eggs, chocolate, sugar, vanilla. 4 servings of cream! Opt for fresh fruit, dipped in dark chocolate, 2 strawberries, perfect!
