Instead of olive or other oil, use vermouth, broth or water. If you can't do without some oil and have to watch cholesterol, use coconut oil. Flax seed oil is also good if you need oil for salad dressing or other cold/room temp recipes. Flax seed oil doesn't do well when heated.
I have so many "can't wait" interruptions to my cardio workout it might take me an hour and a half to do a half hour in 3, 5 or 15 min increments. Do it anyway. 'Make a mental note of where you stop and get whoever settled down again but jump back on track again until the goal is met. Some days, I can get a half hour in without missing a beat, other times, well, it isn't going to happen as planned. that's ok. Use the time you have and consider it interval training!
I have set goals.... and well, I didn't lose as much as I thought I would. but wait,... my stomach doesn't seem as big, my legs seem to be thinner/more toned... the zipper seems to be going up more easily (especially when they are right out of the dryer!). So if I didn't lose 5lbs this week as I had hoped, there are some changes worth noting!
