Don't ever give up ! Failure is not an option !

It seems to me that most of us feel if we don't stick to our plan or plans that we failed even though we keep trying. You are not failures ! Because you keep trying you are not failing. Someone who fails themselves are people who give up on themselves ! You don't ! You're here ! Good for you ! It's important for us to keep Sparking and keep going in the right direction because we are all worth it !

Workout even when you think you feel tired

Even when you think you're to tired to workout evaluate how you "really" feel and then decide if that's just an excuse. Most of the time it usually is, as in my case. Today I made no excuses today I made a decision to take control of my life and to do what's best for me, working out ! Enjoy !

Staying On Plan During Your Time of the Month

Through all the cravings it's possible to stay on plan (OP). Substitute sweets for sweet fruits. If you do crave chocolate get the low cal versions. Keep single servings in the house only when on your time of the month. It's easy to go overboard as we all know. So do yourselves a favor and give yourself the gift of less. Don't give in. Read as many motivational pages as possible. And look back at your photo diaries. You'll be surprised at how much you've lost.

Never give up no matter what

I used to give up for the entire week when I messed up at one meal or one snack, I used it as an excuse. This is very self destructive and I've learned to not do this anymore.

When you find yourself following this pattern, stop, and remember you are an imperfect person and you'll make mistakes. The trick is to get right back on track. Go to Spark and read all the motivational pages you can, it helps me a lot. Also getting your sparkpoints is very helpful. Take care !

Change the verbage get rid of the weight

Weight loss ? nope not for me ! I will not "lose" the weight I am getting rid of it permenantly ! When you lose something you eventually find it do you not ? Well I "never" intend on finding it ever again in life ! Therefore I'm getting rid of it.

Changing our verbage will help us a lot in this journey towards better health and better bodies. I've learned that the hard way. Coming down from 545 lbs to 279 lbs this really helped me start the changing of my verbage on a daily basis it does help

Working out can be fun

When one workout doesn't work try another until you find one that works for you. Ask your Sparkfriends what they workout to, use google, other internet tools, your local library, anything that will work to get you going.

Working out

I kept thinking I don't have time to workout, where am I going to find the time ? Then I sat down and went over my schedule, which is light, and came to the conclusion that i can fit in 45 min of a workout in everyday Mon - Fri. And now I do. So can you.

aerobics for us over 300 lbs

Aerobics is for everyone, at least the correct aerobics dvd. I chose the Susan Powter dvd to workout to because it's for everyone and she states at the beginning of the dvd that this class is for everyone but go at your own pace.

24 hours in a day

Since there are 24 hrs in a day I've been working out to my aerobics tape/dvd for 45 min a day Monday through Friday everyweek and I've found that it energizes me as well as tones me up and takes the pounds off.

Being deprived of sweets doesn't work for me.

I know that if I deprive myself of sweets I will not be able to stick to my program so I found a cookbook called Cook Yourself Thin and they have wonderful recipes for everything in there as well as sweets. Chocolate cake being one of the recipes in there for ppl like me. You should pick up a copy.
