No more tangled necklaces when you pack

This works best for simple chains with small pendants. Get an inexpensive toothbrush travel tube holder and cheap, plastic drinking straws and "thread" the chain through the straw and clasp. Put the "strawed" necklace in the toothbrush tube holder and no more tangled necklaces.

Boiled Eggs

To keep your eggs from overcooking and the yolks from turning green, bring water with eggs in to a boil and then shut the burner off. Leave until water temp has come down and you can drain the eggs. Your eggs will never overcook.

Where does your paycheck go?

I deposit my paycheck into my savings account rather than my checking account. I then go online and transfer what I need, when I need it (free at my bank). Watching that balance go up makes me want to spend as little as possible.

Simplify

When putting your kids laundry away put together their outfits for the next week (or so) and put in a spot designated for them. So with younger kids you can just grab and dress them and older kids know where and what they need to put on.
