Asking to NOT be led into temptation!

Temptation.....every day I pray to God to NOT lead me into temptation today....when I consciously do this, I consciously make a decision to resist the temptation of all the "extra" calories that are brought into my place of work. I have no control over what is brought into the office to "share", however, I DO have control over what is placed into my mouth. God is good and takes care of those who ASK for His divine help! It works for me and it'll work for you!

Adding sweetness to lentil dishes

To counter the bitterness of lentil soup I add a small amount of dried cranberries the last 5 minutes of cooking. It really enhances the taste of the lentils.

Almond Breeze Almond milk

If you like milk, but have lactose intolerance, or just don't want the extra calories, Almond milk is a great way to go. I thought at first it might taste too much like almonds or too sweet, but it has much the same consistency as 2% milk, without the lactose and all the extra fat.

My body my responsibility

Whenever I feel like skipping a workout because I'm tired, I'm too busy, etc , I remind myself that there are plenty of other responsibilities I have to do each day, rain or shine, tired or busy, to take care of the people in my life, so shouldn't this one responsibility to myself be high priority?

A Dryer Towel

I like to keep one towel (and clean ratty one) that I use to throw in the dryer with each load of laundry. The dry towel helps cut down on the drying time with helping absorbing the wetness of the load. I noticed my drying time cut by 10 minutes for most loads (sometimes towels or jeans are a little less). Helps saves electric and a good use for an old towel~!
