With the holidays approaching quickly, it is more realistic to change your weight goal from wanting to drop some pounds to trying to maintain your weight. The holiday season is the greatest test of portion control ever. Sure there are things that are bad for you and that you should avoid but if you focus on portion control and staying within your daily calorie intake, you will end the holiday season without a huge weight gain! If you keep exercising, you may even find you've lost a couple!
There are no quick fixes. You will not see immediate results. Everything takes time and dedication. This applies to all aspects of life and not just dieting, weight loss, exercising, etc. If you really want to make changes in your life, you have to be patient and continue to take baby steps to achieve your goals!
