Journaling your Food

If I journal my intake everyday, it helps me stay on track. You need to honest about everything you eat for the day. I really like the SparkPeople guide, when you are not eating enough protein, carbs, etc. Very helpfull.

Keep pictures, not stuff

If you keep stuff you don't use because of a sentimental attachment, take pictures of it and put it in an album (online is OK) with a note explaining what it was, why you cherished it, and why it should find a new home. That way, you can keep the memory but recycle the item to a new home.

Visual Motivation in a Jar!

Keep a clear glass jar somewhere you see it all the time and put in it a penny for every 1lb of weight you lose. Eat Before Exercising in the Morning
