feedback reports

Fantastic way of checking out what and how I'm eating and taking care of myself. It's terrific especially in letting me know stuff like how much sodium and fat I'm putting in my body. Check it out it's an awesome tool ;^)

To be fit or what?

The fitness tracker has been such a blessing when my doctor told me I needed to start doing strength exercises. I was at a loss then I noticed it right there above my cardio exercises and checked it out. I can already feel the difference in my shoulders and arms. Thanks ;^]

It's Fun ;^)

Message Board is great and offers all kinds of opportunities for sparkers to contribute, ask and learn. More than that it helps keep our brains thinking and alert.
It's fun, take a chance on it. ;^)

Using ticker tape

Don't be afraid of the ticker tape. I set it up so that my goal weights are not overwhelming. Achievable 5# increments, since I've started Spark I've lost a little more than 10# ;^) The slower it comes off, the more likely it will stay off in my opinion. So use the ticker tape, their fun designs ;^)

To blog or not to blog

At first I was hesitant to utilize the blog feature...I was worried what others would think. You know what, it doesn't matter. What is important is getting myself better. If it means sharing a little of my thought process, how ever lame it reads...so be it. Use this positive tool to lose negativity.

Retrain the brain#2

My daughter said, "I cheated and had a slice of cheese." We need to make choices positive, otherwise it insinuates quilt and negativity. "I had a slice of cheese and it was delicious!" With practice embracing the positive can become a habit and then a lifestyle ;^)

being honest

Filling in my foodlog, my husband said, "What good is that if you lie about what you eat?"
I told him "Exactly, why bother if you're not honest."
When filling out your foodlog, be honest. It's most hepful if you are honest with yourself.
You gotta love yourself so you can help yourself ;^)
