So often we spend much of our time and energy doing for others. We need to remember to always take time for ourselves. If we don't, we'll run out of gas. It doesn't have to be hours. A soak in the tub or a short walk often gives us time to refuel our own tanks!
Sometimes I find myself in a battle with food. I usually win, but every now and then food wins. I stop and tell myself, "food, you have this small victory, but the war is MINE!"
Don't do this alone! Create a good support system. These are the people you toot your horn to when you've done well. These are the people who pick you up when you're down. Without these special people, our journey would be very difficult.
