I have never been one to enjoy exercise. When I started Sparking I included the daily strength exercises but was a little apprehensive about cardio. I am not a runner! I found the pedometer I had in a drawer for a few years (unused!) and clipped it on. As soon as I realized that 10,000 steps a day was pretty easy, it helped me to increase my goals. I strive everyday now to just get up and walk...anywhere, anytime. I love seeing the steps each day and know that the faster I walk, the better for my heart!
