It helps me to get started walking if I just put on some tennis shoes, wear whatever I have on, open the door and start walking down the street. Walk just 10 minutes from my house and by the time I get back, I've walked 20 minutes.
I was just told about this feature and it rocks. It tracks your daily calories, fitness minutes & SparkPoints. You can look back at a week or a month and see how you made out. You get gold stars on the days you made your calorie target. Now I want to count gold stars and maybe make them a goal!

I wear a pedometer and go on lots of walks, but have found that I can get the most out of my steps when I take multiple trips doing ANYTHING. Cooking: don't be Rachael Ray and carry everything you need at once, get the milk, flours, veggies, etc separately. Cleaning, grooming, organizing, take your time! It has slowed me down and has added steps to my day
When I asked a young woman who had lost 200 pounds how she did it, she said that she treated weight loss like a job. No matter how she felt, she showed up. She showed up at the grocery store to buy the right food, she showed up to track her food, she showed up to walk, etc.
I tried this out the other day and I am addicted! You do real dance moves to fun music (current and older). I danced for 10 songs (took about 30-40) and I burned 325 cal according to my HRM. It didn't feel like exercise!
