Kick the stationary bike to the curb

It's summer time! Get out and ride a real bike. Notice all the birds, people, children, trees, butterflies, lakes, or life's happenings! Breathe the fresh air, smile, and exercise all at the same time! Kick that stationary bike to the curb!

Take a break already ...

Every week, I get to take a 24 hour break known as Shabbat. It's a time to reflect, relax, and rejuvenate. It gives me the focus to continue my life's journeys. Everyone needs a break so give yourself some time off. Give yourself some time to just sit and be. Feel your own zen!

Don't forget to take a break

It's easy to get really caught up in my weight loss program but I have to remember to take breaks. Every week, I take one day off to evaluate my progress and make adjustments in my plan. This day is a day of rest and is good for my body, mind, and spirit.

Going to bed happy

Whenever I have a really tough day, I make sure I do a p.m. yoga DVD. The gentle exercises and meditation help me focus my energy and be at peace. It makes sleeping a lot easier and I feel, in general, happier. A simple thing to do that is highly effective.

I work out just to work out

I learned to be one with the exercise (LOL). I go to the gym just to hang out and I always end up in somebody's class. I've tried all kinds of things ... zumba, spin, water aerobics, weight lifting, treadmills, ellipticals, and Tae Kwondo. I can't wait to try belly dancing! It's the newest class.
