No matter what you weigh choose your favorite body part and play it up. Do you have pretty hands or feet? Get a pedicure or manicure! A beautiful smile? Emphasize it with some fun lip gloss. Nice calves? Wear some fun heels! Feeling beautiful daily will help you stay positive and motivated.
After about 10 weeks of working out 5 days a week I realized I was feeling run down. So I took 4 days off. I needed a rest! I came back refreshed and excited to work out instead of seeing it as a chore. Listen to your body and take breaks when you need it. It helps you keep your long run goals.
I have learned that being too strict and banning all bad foods from my diet is a recipe for failure. When I allow myself a splurge day once every 7 to 10 days I stick to being very healthy much better the rest of the time. I enjoy my big treat without guilt and go back to eating healthy!
When I am strength training my core I take my shirt off and do it in front of a mirror. Seeing exactly WHY I am doing this while working out helps me stay motivated to work that much harder!
For a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich place it open face into the toaster oven to melt and then place the sandwich together. No butter is needed on the outside. Also cut one slice of cheese into small pieces and distribute over the bread. Now you only need 1 slice but have cheese in every bite!
