I was so down that I couldn't build up some kind of exercise streak and then I decided to just walk, just walk. At first it took me a month to do 250 minutes and this month, I did 250 minutes in just 9 days! So, "one step at the time" IS the real thing. It does work.
Even with the healthier whole grain Crackers, Chips, Pretzels...every good intention of sticking with the recommended serving size becomes defeat if the box is within sight. SO, I decided to count out the serving size into little baggies...now I have the right amount each time no guesswork after the meal...guilt free! Slows down my eating because what you see is what you get. Saves money buying bulk instead of individual packages and baggies can be used more than once.
I hate working out, so when I watch my favorite show every commercial I get up and do 10 crunches, 10 squats, and 10 push-ups (modified). After 5 commercial breaks I have done 50 of etch and completed a good work out for the night. No soreness either!
All you must do everyday to become more toned over time is do about 15 minutes of deep stretching every morning or after waking up each day. One of the most important things is to release the lubrication or fluid that is already in your hip and knee joints. Do this each day and you will keep young.
