For those days when I'm bored or unmotivated I go to my "Deal A Move" deck - a collection of individual strength or toning moves cut from magazines and pasted to index cards. I just randomly pull out 1 or more cards and those are the moves I do. It adds variety and a sense of game play.
The best thing I did for my healthy lifestyle was invest in a small chest freezer and stacks of freezerware. I took one weekend, made about 10 different dishes, portioned them into individual servings, labeled them with necessary nutritional info, & froze for healthy instant convenience meals.
Make fitness a game. Logging activity minutes, collecting recipes or health-ifying them, trying activities, setting challenges, even tracking food is more fun when I approach it as play. It's like playing repeated rounds of solitaire until I win: "Next time, I can do it better!"
