I have found, that I am more flexible confident and stronger since I have started practicing Praise moves, the christan alternative to Yoga. In my water aerobics class I was able to balance on one leg, and stretch much more than I used to!
I love these little wedges, they are only 35 calories, but you can use them for so many things, they come in lots of diffrent flavors! I spread one on a Thomas thin Baegel. l slice an apple in half and spread half on each half of the apple, is YUMMY!
DVR Exercise shows from tv, or your cable company might provide on demand exercise shows. Swap DVDs that you have grown tired of with friends, for fresh new workouts. Check out your library, for videos to check out, for a couple of weeks. If you really love it you can go out an buy it. Many orginaztions such as hospitals, or community centers etc, offer low cost or free fitness classes. Don't forget GoodWill or St Vinnies for Videos and workout equipment. One mans trash is another mans treasure.
When I try a new activity, DVD, Class or strength training routine, I always give myself a period of free trial. I do my regular workouts, and then just add the new activity. It takes the pressure off of burning your calories, from some thing you don't know the technique, or routine. Thi gives you the oppurtunity learn the propper techniques. Which will help you more in the future. Plus you might find you like doing both old and new! Keep growing and trying new things!
Think about how much more money you used to spend over eating. We probaly buy more expensive healthier foods now, so we might not see a diffrence at the register. But think about how much money you could have saved, by not over eating! When I realize how I used to make sandwhiches, or how much Butter we used to go through... I don't even buy butter any more! I spend about half as much as I used to on groceries!
your hair gets build up from using the same shampoo all the time.. to get rid of build up you can simply add a couple table spoons of backing soda to a 1/4 cup of your regular shampoo and apply to dry hair and let set, for several minutes....then of course rinse hair in shower like you normaly would. Be sure to use a good conditioned afterward beacuse this takes all the yucky and some mosture out of your hair. Condition and rinse like you normaly would.. and you will notice a healthy diffrence
My husband And I were shopping and noticed that our grocery store had stocked up on Turkey! We looked, and there were some good prices. We love to eat turkey so we don't care if it is a little early to get Thanksgiving Turkey. But the smallest we found was 27 dollars which was just a little too much or our meat budget. But then I noticed two frozen turkeys (the same size and brand) in the reduced meat section! We picked up two 10-13 pound turkeys for under 17.00! One for now and one for later
Christian alternative to Yoga! I bought the 20 minute praise moves to add flexibility and stretching into my work outs. I was not prepared for how easy it is but, I work up a sweat! Great. Plus I get to meditate on some great scriptures and get my attitude right for the day ahead!
reward yourself, for working hard exercising, by joining a club such as the YMCA. You can try out fun new exercise equipment and classes, and plus they have lots of fun active activities you can participate in with your family of friends. Plus what a great way to make frinds who, will hold you acconuntable if you miss a class!
