I've just started a new revved-up meal plan and have lost a few pounds since starting. That's a positive thing but I'm finding more positive is how high my energy levels are now! It's important to take notice of what your body is telling you...and my body is saying "weeeeeee!"
I'm just getting started with SparkPeople and my get-fit journey. It's easy to get intimidated or discouraged if you don't get results right away. But I've enjoyed reading the Success Stories and learning about others' journeys.
I indulgeed and broke my diet at a friend's birthday party last night. But I worked our extra hard yesterday and plan to do so again today after a healthy breakfast. I sneak in good food like veggies, flax, nuts, and beans when I cook. It means I'm eating good things but not having to think about it so much. For example, add zucchini, mushrooms and green pepper to spaghetti sauce. Or add nuts and ground flax seeds to a salad. "Supersize" your nutritional intake!
