How to plan a meal to fit your nutrition ranges...?

I use the Nutrition Tracker to help me plan my meals. Sometimes I'm not sure what to eat for dinner to get the right mix of nutrients to hit my ranges. What I do is start entering different meal options. If something puts me over my range I simply remove it and try something else until I find just the right meal to fit into my remaining calories, fat, carbs and protein ranges for the day. emoticon

Think of SP as a Rx for your health and well being!

If your doctor diagnosed a problem & said 'take this pill', would you? If you were told you need to do physical therapy, would you schedule the appointments and go? Consider tracking your food the same as taking a pill with each meal. Consider exercise the same as physical therapy. You need it!

Shop Salvation Army and Thrift Shops (& Donate)

As you start dropping weight and need smaller size clothes, check out the Salvation Army Store or other Thrift Shops in your area. I'm finding that the new clothes I bought 2 months ago are falling off me. I bought them new! I wish I had thought of this earlier. Now I'll donate my big clothes.

Got yellow sweat stains?

Use ammonia to treat those yellow sweat stains! Pour a little directly on the stains and toss them in the washer. You can pour a cup of ammonia into the washer to work on the whole load. The wash cycle will smell, but the rinse cycle will take care of that. Your clothes won't stink when done.

Sodium may be the culprit.

When I found myself losing or GAINING a pound in a day while eating in my ranges, I had to figure out what was going on. Sodium is known to make you retain fluids. When I started tracking sodium in the Nutrition Tracker and keeping it down, the pounds started coming off again.
