Turn computer & TV off 1 hour before going to sleep. Take one 3mg melatonin (ask your dr. first!) after turning off computer/TV. Take a cool shower (lowers your body temp. which is necessary for sleep). Read a book for 20 or 30 minutes. Have white noise (like a fan) in your room to drown out any outside noises. Wear a sleep mask to block out light. My "recipe" (most of which was recommended by my doc) works like a charm for this "former" insomniac. :-) Sleep tight!
You can get in some extra steps while you're waiting for your copies to print; heating your lunch; brushing your teeth and/or washing your hands. I have become quite proficient at stepping & ironing at the same time, or dancing around the kitchen to some workout music as I make dinner. Happy Stepping!!
