i have found that if i set a 7 PM time as a food cutoff, I have no more heartburn at night, i'm not tempted to find a snack, and i lose better. I know it does not matter when you eat your calories. But this works for me. Now if i could just find a solution for the 3 pm munchies i'd be all set!
allow yourself a small treat daily or weekly. I never used to be able to have one of something, let alone one small of whatever. But I have found that ONE hershey kiss at bedtime gives me a special treat, i let it melt on my tongue. iLike a fancy hotel sith chocolate on the pillow!
you can swim, walk, pick berries, smell flowers, PLANT flowers, there is SO much to do get out and DO IT!!
i find that if you cut up meat very tiny, and chew slowly, 3 ounces is quite satisfying!!
if you cut up carrots and celery and keep them in a container in the fridge there is no prep when you are looking for a crunchy snack. you can grab them and go!!
even for 5 minutes. make sure you do something conciously. take a walk. do some leg lifts. SOMETHING!! every single day.
