Try Something New

Have you gotten into a rut with your food? Bored of the same things?
When you do your weekly shop be determined to take one new food/spice/ sauce home to try out.
Scan SP recipes one a fortnight at least to try a new meal.
Variety is the spice of life and by trying new foods you look forward to your meals and enjoy them more! emoticon

Do what rocks your boat

I've realised over time that we are not all walkers, swimmers, cyclists and FORCING yourself to do a form of exercise coz someone else excels at it, or because you feel you HAVE TO DO SOMETHING is not the way to go.
Find something you ENJOY - you're far more likely to stick with it!

EXTEND YOUR PLANK TIME

Having trouble holding a plank emoticon I take my mind off the length of time I hold one by trying to do it for the duration of a record on the radio and by concentrating on my breathing. So far (this morning) I've managed 4;23 to Robbie William's Feel.

Use your arms more

Place items used most frequently on higher shelves so you have to stretch to reach things

Don't over cook vegetables

If you leave your vegetables to cook til soft you're destroying all the goodness!
Leave them with a bit of bite! I swear they taste better too
