Keep Tracking

I have found that in order to stay on track for maintenance I need to need to keep tracking what I eat and my activity. Last weekend I had a very busy day, over 25,000 steps, biking, lawn mowing, walking, and had kept to my average calorie intake. The next day I was at work and a half a dozen times when I started walking around after sitting for a while, I was light headed. I have found that I need to track what I eat to not only keep my weight down, but make sure I am eating enough.

Calories In/Calories Out

Within 6 months of starting to use SparkPeople, I was able to reach, and actually exceed my goals for losing weight. It came down to being committed to the very simple act of tracking calories in/calories out. I had exercised many times in the past trying to lose weight, but until I tracked everything I ate, I was not able to consistently lose weight.
