I often spend hours sitting behind a desk. I will set my phone to chime every hour and remind me to get up and stretch, move and even do a few jumping jacks. I find that at the end of the day, if I will get up and move at least once every hour I don't feel near as "worn out" at the end of the day
Even though by the end of the day I sometimes think I'm too tired to get on the bike, I always remember that after about 30 minutes, I don't want to get off of it! One thing that definitely helps is watching TV on DVD while I do it. It portions my time and sometimes I want to see the next episode so much that I keep doing the cardio!
I have tried to lose weight since my son was born (13 years ago) and I have always failed. Part of most of the reason is that I could never stick to my fitness routine. It always ended up feeling like a job and I dreaded going to the gym and getting on the treadmill.
I have a treadmill downstairs and I have purchased a swimsuit that is two sizes down from what I am now. It is hanging where I can see it while I am on the treadmill. I can get the swimsuit on, but it will look so much nicer when I'm more fit.
Though I feel great physically, emotionally and mentally after a workout. There are days when I just don't feel like doing it. So, I just get up before I talk myself out of it and I Just Do IT! Afterward, I have such a rewarding feeling!
I get steamer bags, prep my veggies for the week , store them in the steamer bags with a tablespoon of water. then take out throw in Microwave and in a snap I have veggies for my meal with no extra dishes to wash. They stack well in the fridge. The bag has micro time on outside of bag for common veggies.
