I have tried to lose weight since my son was born (13 years ago) and I have always failed. Part of most of the reason is that I could never stick to my fitness routine. It always ended up feeling like a job and I dreaded going to the gym and getting on the treadmill.
I have a treadmill downstairs and I have purchased a swimsuit that is two sizes down from what I am now. It is hanging where I can see it while I am on the treadmill. I can get the swimsuit on, but it will look so much nicer when I'm more fit.
Though I feel great physically, emotionally and mentally after a workout. There are days when I just don't feel like doing it. So, I just get up before I talk myself out of it and I Just Do IT! Afterward, I have such a rewarding feeling!
I get steamer bags, prep my veggies for the week , store them in the steamer bags with a tablespoon of water. then take out throw in Microwave and in a snap I have veggies for my meal with no extra dishes to wash. They stack well in the fridge. The bag has micro time on outside of bag for common veggies.
Most of us go strong from the minute our feet hit the floor in the morning. We are so busy with family, work, activities gardening, cleaning and just trying to live. Or what we think is living. Do we try to have too much, be involved in groups to be seen, take on responsibilities more than we can handle. Step back look at your life and see if you are really enjoying it and giving your family the time they need. Slow down live, love and be happy. Smile
I got excited to go and buy new water bottles. I now carry them around with me everywhere! Having it with me is a constant reminder that I'm on my way to getting healthy, and keeps me on track with drinking my water everywhere I go.
