Being recently married it's important for us to eat together. Unfortunately my husband can eat whatever he wants and however much without gaining weight....or at least it seems that way. He also doesn't like to eat many veggies. We preplan our suppers together but just the meat. So we pick chicken breast, turkey burgers, venison, etc. and we just each have a different side. Mine is usually a vegetable while his is noodles, rice, French fries, etc. We can still eat together and I can be healthy!
I am creating a weight loss binder to keep my success in one convenient place. Every week I print off the weekly reports that are important to me and add them to the correct tab in my binder. I'm a visual person and it's very easy for me to compare one week to the next to see my successes and struggles. I also have a place for my monthly pictures of myself to compare before and afters.
I have a hard time curbing my "hunger" unless I have 1 slimfast meal shake per day. I usually eat a piece of fruit with them to have something solid in my stomach too. I drink one at lunch and it really helps me. My personal favorite are the cappuccino delight flavored shakes.
I have put together a list of positive affirmations and quotes that I found online and I knew would keep me positive. I used a fun font, printed then out on cute paper and cut them into individual strips of paper. I put them in a jar and pull one out, read it multiple times, and add it to my bulletin board dedicated just for this!
