Usually within two or three weeks of faithfully exercising, I have to stop and rest some sort of injury - a tweaked knee, a foot I can't put weight on - something that keeps me from exercising. Since December, I have been stretching at the end of EVERY workout session, so far, I am injury free. I am sore and feeling muscles and stuff, but I have not strand anything to the point that I can not work out. I never realized how important stretching is to your total workout.
Exercise going well. BUT... Struggling to stick to healthy eating, Monday after a Zumba class I drove to the store and bought the things needed to stick to my nutrition plan on SparkPeople. This week, it has been easy to stick with the plan because I have everything I need here in my home. Mid-week I realized another smart thing to add to this is to check the night before to see what I would be eating and then prepping what I can ahead. Success this week, I am starting to lose some weight.
Eating or grazing at night is one of my biggest problems, but if I find something to do with my hands - I don't eat. I have taken up piecing quilt tops again. It's fun, creative, and I have great gifts for new grandbabes.
