Pilates to ease lower back pain

Over a period of time I have learnt that Pilates especially those moves concentrating on the core and glutes help ease my lower back pain to a point where I sometimes even forget I have it.
However, don't stop when you think you are feeling better. Think of it always as work in progress.

Patience Pays

Be patient - patience pays. Losing weight requires a lifestyle change to healthy living and this takes time as you are changing habits that you've been used to.There will be set-backs and lots of challenges along the way. ZigZag your calories

ZigZag your calories on a regular basis. Eat within your calorie range but vary your calories between the high-end and the lower-end of your recommednded range on a regular basis. This confuses the body and will help avoid plateau.

Working-Out First Thing in the Morning

In the past few years I've found out the working-out first thing in the morning works best for me. I don't have to come up with excuses later in the day for not keeping myself fit and healthy.

I've learnt so much from Sparkpeople and still going!

I have learnt so much from sparkpeople. I know what a lot of numbers mean w.r.t. my health: BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat %, etc. I know what ranges I need to be in so I do regular check.
I now know that cold does not cause Cold!
