While it seems the world is falling apart all around you, and that regrouping to even peek out from the top of covers is not an option. Getting up, getting dressed and lacing up those running shoes in turn gives you the motivation to step out of the house and get physical.
If you find yourself overdoing it and going over your calorie goals for the day, don't sweat it. The next day calorie counter starts at zero. No need to beat yourself up over a bad day. Just learn from it and start anew.
On days where you feel discouraged and blue, just take a 15 minute stroll through a local park, around a lake, or along a stream. Your discouragement will be turned into encouragement, and the blues turned into smiles.
