If I don't buy it then I can't eat it.

I am very picky in the grocery store, I read the labels and buy healthier snack options because if I buy the high calorie stuff then i eat the high calorie stuff all in one sitting !!!!!

Involving the kids

When I sign up for a Run I make sure that they have a kids fun run and then I tell my kids about it. They are so excited to go and run a race I feel bad if I let them down so I go and run my race

Veggies

In order to get more veggie in my family's diet I always add peppers, onions, mushrooms & carrots to anything I make. Example I add these to Taco Meat, Pasta Sauce, Meatloaf and Hamburger Helper. Dinner is still easy to make & familiar foods the kids will eat but with a few veggies added

Ground Turkey

I used ground turkey instead of ground beef in Tacos, Pasta, Hamburger it has less fat, calories plus it's cheaper
