I was stuck at the same weight for a month, even though I was working out and eating right. Then I went to a 2 hour zumba class and I started losing again. The classes are great because your dancing. It feels like a party instead of like excercise!
When you movement is limited, you really don't need 1200 calories. It is like gassing your car every day but you don't drive. I tried increasing my calories above 1200 did not work. I am eating healthy & taking my Vemma vitamins. Laid off all bread and immediately dropped 5 pounds.
I truly enjoy reading a few magazines and I save a lot of money by subscribing to them rather than buying at the store each month. What I have realized, is that by signing up to their e-zines online, I get a significant amount of content without buying the paper magazine. This saves even more!
I'm paid weekly, my BF check is direct deposit...mine is not. Each week I take out "me tax" for example say your take home pay is $350...10% of that is $35. So, put that amount into your tin Now, really if you are strapped use a smaller percentage out but, make it per pay check no matter what.
Practice what you preach. When you encourage others to join you/go to exercise class; you, too, have to be there/have to continue to go to class.
Splurge on exercise instead of money... You will feel better
If you like flavored coffee try this. Buy regular coffee & then flavored coffees as well. What I do though is when I make the coffee I use one scoop of the flavored coffee and the rest regular. You get the flavor and save money. Another option is add cinnamon to your coffee grounds.
Plant a garden. You will save a lot of money by eating all the vegetables that you grow. You can freeze or can the extras or sell them at a roadside market. We even can vegetable soup using all the vegetables that we grow. If you plant early enough, you can usually get in two plantings a summer
I buy a very large bottle of dishwashing soap then fill a small bottle with half the soap and half with water and shake. Still cuts the grease and your dishwashing liquid lasts twice as long.
Being an interior designer it is important that my house looks good, but I don't always have a big budget. If you live near a big city chances are you have a hotel liquidator in your area. I find fabulous deals on wonderful furniture & accessories. Nice hotel furniture is very durable as well.
