I'm a beginner runner. I find distance running very difficult. So now when I want to end the running, I ask myself, "What's wrong with me that I feel I need to stop?" Then I do a quick pain/body check. "My legs are fine, my abs are doing fine, my lungs are working and feeling great, my arms will keep going. I'm doing great and have no reason to stop!" This keeps me going sometimes even way past the goal I've set for myself that day.
