Don't have time to chill it and remove the solidified fat?
When I'm feeling stressed and want to snack on junk. I find taking a walk , like on my 15min break, getting outside does the trick. By the time I end my little walk I no longer have the desire for a junky snack at all.
To save money, meal preparation and clean up time, I purchase 2-3 pkgs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts when they go on sale, wrap 2-3 breasts with my favorite seasoning in foil and freeze all foil pkgs in one large freezer bag. When you feel like it, take on pkg out of the bag and cook (from frozen) in oven @ 250ºF for 3-4 hrs while you go about your business (best if also baking potatoes or squash.) Meat always tender and you have low cal meals ready for the rest of the week.
Motivate someone else. Have you read a blog or post by a person who is struggling? Give that person some encouragement. Tell them you believe in them and that they can achieve their dreams. Not only will they feel supported and encouraged, but so will you. When we help each other we become more motivated ourselves.
I've been drinking Green Tea instead of coffee in the morning to save the calories from the creamer, and I've noticed that the green tea suppresses my appetite and helps to keep me full until lunch. Now, I'm drinking a cup every morning after breakfast.
