Audibly Rationalize Why...

If you find yourself staring at a piece of food you can't seem to say no to stop for a brief moment and explain to yourself why you should have the food or better still why you should NOT have the food. Do it out loud if you're alone or explain it to a friend if you're in company.

Learn to Estimate Calories

Take mental notes of calories in food, do flash-card drills if you have to.
Practice estimating the calorie count in foods you didn't prepare, ie. let your spouse make the food or estimate the calories when you go out to dinner and then ask for a nutrition fact-sheet if they have one to compare.
This way when you find yourself Out, at a Party or Family event you'll be able to keep yourself inside your calorie budget even if you don't know exactly what went into each entree.

Buy 'Reach' Clothes

Buy yourself an article of clothing that's just a bit too small for you to wear comfortably, then instead of weighing yourself everyday(or every week) try putting on that piece of clothing to see if it fits you any better. Visualize yourself fitting into it and looking good wearing it.
