So I began slacking in my water consumption area. So I bought and new water bottle. So the past four days I have drank 12 + cups of water a day! This same trick works everywhere. Getting tired of your workout? Find a new one. Tired of the way you have been eating? Try a new way of eating. Switching it up keeps you motivated
Staying motivated is hard sometimes. Anytime I feel myself slipping into a comfort state I do a little research. I look for new health sites and articles. Studies published about food or some info found on bodybuilding.com. Finding new info gives me something new to include in what I'm doing. It keeps me motivated and "switching things up."
This tip is not about weight loss, it is about the affect that food has on an individual. I use to deal with puffiness around the eyes, eczema, swollen joints and other random things at random times of the year. So I experimented with my diet and by cutting out dairy for one week and then reintroducing it, I found out that dairy makes my eyes puffy. What else? Oranges, I found out they give me canker sores! There are others but I suggest you try this secret you never know what you might discover!
Ok so I love chocolate and need it daily. Same with peanut butter. But wait I can't live without coffee either. The solution: After I workout I take a cup of coffee add one tablespoon of peanut butter and a scoop of no carb protein powder and vuala! A chocolaty peanut-buttery coffee drink! Another tip, I don't get it unless I workout :)
My secret to weightloss? Produce, produce, produce, workout, produce. Yes we need to workout, yes we should track calories, but the surest way to watch what you eat is fill up on as much fresh stuff as possible! When I say produce I mean fresh or frozen. But the point is you get more volume for your calories and the rest of you will begin looking healthier as the weight comes off. 9 or more servings a day to prevent cancer! Eat it up! In fact STUFF yourself on fruit and veggies.
Everything counts! That's a good secret. Not only every bite of food counts, but every single activity counts too! Stand when your hopping on the computer to track your food or check your e-mail. Walk in place while cooking dinner. Always take the stairs! Waiting in line? Calf-raises. In an elevator by yourself? Squats. Kids sleeping? Walk in place. Your hungry? Don't "test" the food that your cooking! Drink some water while you wait! Everything counts. Every single little thing we do COUNTS!
