for cereal i'll put a cup of puffed wheat (50 cal) and top it off with another cereal like frosted flakes. The puffed wheat acts like a filler so I get more volume of cereal but less calories
I find when I'm busy I can go for a long time with out needing to eat much. When I'm child minding from 7:45am to 5pm I find I'm so occupied by the end of the day I've only eaten a few things (today I had a tomato with some sugar, 2 rice cakes and some cantelope) and I don't feel hungry
We put our treat in the downstairs freezer. That way they are there but easier to forget. They last longer because they are kept frozen and because they are kept out of sight.
