Being On A Team For A Challenge

I find that being on a team for a challenge a good thing. There's accountability, as well as goals to be met. Other people are counting on me to do well, & I don't want to let them down. I know that each other member is working hard as well, & there is the built in motivation to help the team win.

Play Actively With Cat

"Dublin Tag/Races" is the name I gave to an almost daily game my cat & I play. As do most cats, he goes on a tear around our home every day. I've started running with him, sometimes playing a version of hide-&-seek, where he seeks, & sometimes I just run around with him chasing me.

Mini Goals Help To Smash Walls

Setting mini goals along the way, especially when biking or walking, etc., has been helpful to me. It keeps me moving towards my main goal during a session in small, manageable doses. Pick a point ahead to shoot for & then choose another a little ways beyond. Makes it easier.

Water Bottles Stashed Around Home

By accident, I started leaving bottles of water around my home. I wash & refill them every night before I go to bed & have one at my bedside at night. I know how much I've drunk each day by how much is left in each. This way, water's always at hand.
