I mix veggies into lots of kid dishes that don't normally have them. I put spinach in ravioli (or any other chef boyardee item), I add broccoli, peas, and/or carrots to mac and cheese, veggies on pizza, etc. My daughter eats them without even realizing that those veggies aren't part of the regular...
I try to do zumba most days of the week for exercise because I absolutely LOVE it! It makes it so much easier to get to class because not only do I need to go but I WANT to go!
When I'm super tired and just don't think I have the energy to exercise, I tell myself "just 10 minutes". Some days, once I start, I can do more and some days, I just do the 10 minutes. Either way, at least I exercised a few minutes.
I find tasty treats that meet my sweet tooth needs without putting me over the top on my nutrition totals. I have a huge sweet tooth and eat some kind of dessert almost every day. I don't feel deprived and I'm not overindulging...win/win!
