I have 28 km to work - too far to bike. But I have a bike rack on the car, drive and park about ten km from work and cycle the remaining part. Busy days I park closer to work, beautiful days further away.
Getting some cardio in before breakfast make me feel good about myself for the rest of the day - it is important to me to give myself a good experience first thing in the morning.
I buy dry beans and chick peas and soak them in water for eight hours and cook. Then I divide them in 120-150 g servings, and freeze. Making slow food fast and easy to put in soups, stews and salads.
