I just got a treadmill and I love the Walk It Out for the Wii so I do both at the same time. I set the penality setting to none since I don't always get the steps on the WIO. I don't have to bother with my Ipod since there is music on the game. I do my cardio and then when I'm finished I get to buy things around the island.
I like to puree veggies or fruits and sneak them into baked goods, mashed potatoes(pureed cauliflower) and in turkey burgers to add flavor. I also add to smoothies to get my intake of fruits and veggies.
I try to get in extra exercising through out the day. I may do counterr top push-ups, or seated knee lifts. I keep 5 pd weights by the computer and do bicep curls or shlder shrugs. I wear a pedometer and I march in place in check out lines or during commericlas. it all adds up at the end of the day.
