Treadmill and WIO

I just got a treadmill and I love the Walk It Out for the Wii so I do both at the same time. I set the penality setting to none since I don't always get the steps on the WIO. Water

Water I keep bottle water in my car at all times so that I won't stop and get soda or other calorie high drinks. It also saves time and I get my water in.

Hidden veggies/fruits

I like to puree veggies or fruits and sneak them into baked goods, mashed potatoes(pureed cauliflower) and in turkey burgers to add flavor. I also add to smoothies to get my intake of fruits and veggies.
My son doesn't know that he is eating veggies and doesn't complain.

Filling Breakfast

I love oatmeal...but it can get boring. So I like to chop up a small apple, almond slivers 1 to 2 Tablespoons and apple pie spice for taste and mix it into my oatmeal.
It's yummy and filling!!

Just Dance

I got the Wii game Just dance for my family for Easter. We have had so much fun dancing and challenging each other to see who can get the highest points.
It is a great cardio workout and we send time together!

Baking

I love to bake and I substitute everything I can and still have great taste. I will use egg whites for most of the eggs, applesauce for 1/2 the oil and splenda for 1/2 of the sugar. I also use mini chocolate chips and use less.

Exercise through out the day

I try to get in extra exercising through out the day. I may do counterr top push-ups, or seated knee lifts. I keep 5 pd weights by the computer and do bicep curls or shlder shrugs. I wear a pedometer and I march in place in check out lines or during commericlas. it all adds up at the end of the day.
