Know when to quit.

Try a new activity for 5 weeks....
if it not to you liking or you feel worn out maybe its time to try something different.
listen to your body.

NOTE* if you quit that activity replace it with something else for 5 weeks and notice how your body feels and adapts.

Sometimes it's OK to quit.

change your clothes, change your momentum.

When i need to go to the gym after work, I change at my office.
Then it is already in my head that I am going to workout.

It would be too easy to make the left to go home instead of the Right to go to the gym if i'm not already in my running shoes.

follow the leader

Go on youtube and find a weight loss vlog of someone who inspires you to meet your goals.
When you subscribe to that person you can use them as a motivator.
You can also share your successes and pitfalls with them and they write you back. Then make your own youtube videos. It keeps you accountable.

Follow the 10 minute rule

When you don't feel like working out, tell yourself to only do 10 minutes.
After you have exercised for the 10 minutes chances are you will continue on for the whole workout.

"Hey i've gone this far. I can do 20 more minutes." emoticon
