"Real Food Has Curves" by Bruce Weinstein & Mark Scarbrough

The subtitle is "How to Get Off Processed Food, Lose Weight and Love What You Eat." The authors' premise is that chemicals in our brain expect real food when we eat. When we eat processed and fake food, our brain prompts us to eat more in hopes of getting real food.
Lots of good information on buying oils, cheeses and using herbs and spices in place of salt and sugar. Easy, non-intimidating recipes as well.

Spa Pillow that is heated in the microwave

The brand I have is "Bed Buddy." It is the size of a travel pillow and has beans in it. After microwaving it, I put it on my sore muscles or cold feet. It feels wonderful and relaxing. It's the best $12.99 I have ever spent!

Hand washables

When I need to hand wash my bras I take them into the shower with me and wash them using shampoo. I hang them to dry on the rack and they are ready to go by the next day.

Mashed Cauliflower

After cooking the 12 oz. bag of cauliflower, I added minced garlic, one Laughing Cow Light Blue Cheese and 2 T of non-fat Greek yogurt. I mashed it using a potato masher(and mashed it and mashed it.) It was just as good and just as comforting as mashed potatoes for less than 75 calories per serving.

Dagoba Xocolatl Rich Dark Chocolate Chilies & Nibs

This bar is 74% cacao so a little is very satisfying. The chilies sneak up on me and help me from eating more than I should. 1/4 of the bar (20 g) is 95 calories, 8 grams of fat 2 grams of protein and 5 grams of sugar..

Keeping my goal top of mind

So Delicious Coconut Milk Unsweetened

This is my new favorite for smoothies, replacing almond milk. It makes my smoothie very thick and creamy. (I did not like it for drinking though.)

Water for the Weekend
