I frequently get the "hungries late in the afternoon or early evening. I have found the best way to curb it is to drink a cup of warm milk. It fills me up and since I use no-fat I don't add that many calories to my day's count.
I had noticed that the water coming out of the hot water faucet was way too hot. Checked the temp. setting and it was at 135. Since it is only my husband and I we turned it down to 100. Still plenty of hot water for our needs and a big difference in our electric bill.
I live on a country lane. Measured distance to and from mailbox is 1/2 mile. Also to get to my friend at the other end of the lane is 1/2 mile . I do this in the evening when I couldn't get to the treadmill or gym. The weather is nicer now and its much easier to do.
