I like the change up in my regular walking routine that's been added by grabbing a pair of Nordic Walking Sticks; you can tell right away a new dimension has been added to the calorie burn!
Every day, I imagine myself thin, running, and healthy. I even see what I'm wearing. It makes me look forward to my goals!
Making food ahead of time sure makes it soooo easy to keep on track!
I found Quik Seals at Wal-Mart, and they are the coolest things! Open a pkg of lettuce & just put one across the top of the lettuce bag & it becomes a zip lock bag! Best money saver ever, no old dead lettuce in one day!
Remember that long journeys start with little steps. I am happy to complete a little goal & make it a lasting habit at this time in my life.
Making sure you check the food out ahead of time can make the difference in making or breaking that sodium level each day!
Don't sweat the small stuff when you're getting started! Can't run a marathon? Then walk a block! It's the beginning of something bigger!
I've found that Having Friends along the way with the same goal really helps me maintain my goals, and encourage them with theirs!
I get my food ready the night before and pack everything I can pack to be able to grab and go!
I realize that I'm just starting this journey so, no more beating myself up when I blow it; it takes 21 days repeating an action to make it a habit...so I have a few more days to get into the choices of good habits.
