My gym offers a class based on just doing plyometrics; short/high intensity intervals of running, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, lounges...you name it. For 50 minutes our heart rate is HIGH. Though it is a TOUGH workout and sometimes hard to keep up, I feel really really good afterwards. Something different from a "typical" cardio workout that really kicks your butt.
We all could probably eat a couple of weeks on the food on our freezer and pantry alone yet every week we pile it on with more groceries! Once in a while plan the weekly meal to include only foods you already have and only shop for basics and fresh produce. Save money and clean the kitchen at once!
On those days you know you will be home later than normal with little time to make a healthy meal, plan ahead and try to make part of my meal the night before. Say you are making pasta with meat sauce? Prepare your sauce the night before just boil the pasta while setting the table the day off.
