I'm a "girl" raised in the 1950s and my mother taught me to look around, scan a room and see what needs doing. To this day, I unconsciously do this, notice what is out of place but now, I often semi unconsciously ignore what I see! I'm working on getting back in the habit of deliberately sticking my head up and taking note of my environment and spending 5 minutes to make it better.

All things change, constantly; the weather, moods, relationships, and the habits we are picking up or dropping. What you do over time, whether you are aware of it or not determines what you will be doing later! Sit and watch TV and "exercise" will get harder to start or maintain.

Stay focused by whittling down your to-do and goals lists; only work on 3-5 things at a time. Having to decide which things on your lists is "most" important to you will help you focus and know what is right for you, a "this" moment.
